Srinagar, July 29: Scores of bidders were disappointed today after they fail to download bid proposals as the website mentioned by the Mission Director National Health Mission was not functioning.

Mission Director National Health Mission for and on behalf of Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir had invited online proposals from IMCR approved labs for undertaking RT-PCR testing, and reporting, of samples from J&K for Covid-19, in time bound manner.

The proposals were available on the website www.jktenders.gov.in and www.jknhm.com while the last date of submission of online bids was 29 July (Wednesday).

Scores of bidders told news agency KNT that there were some technical problems with the website and the bid was not getting downloaded. They alleged that even call centres didn’t respond and resorting to dilly dally tactics, sometimes telling bidders to change the browser and some telling them to log in from another e-mail.

These bidders appealed LG GC Marmu and Chief Secretary to extend the submission date and allow them to participate in the bid.

Some of the bidders including Ravi Tomar, Sajad Mir,Moin Ahmed, Tariq Ahmed, Mrs Sonia, Mrs K.Chowdary, Muhammad Ashraf and Ziauddin made a fervent appeal to LG to consider their request and extend the submission date. (KNT)
