Baba Karemi Football Tourney: SFA thrash Sports Club by 2-0, qualifies for Final

Bandipora, Aug 17: In the ongoing Baba Karemi Football Tourney, SFA defeated Sports Club Bandipora By 2-0 Played here in BN Gazi Sports Ground Watapora here on Monday, While qualified for the final. In the Play SFA Green opened account in the 22th minute of the match giving early lead to the team. It Was Hanan who opened the account for SFA in the 22th minute of the play. Prolific striker Hanan Ahmad & midfielder Aamir Ahmad scored one each. In the 51th minute of the Second Play, SFA boys made an excellent wall pass move and Aamir made no mistake in netting the ball.

Though sports Club made several moves from both flanks to reduce the goal deficit but failed to convert into goals. During the Game, sports club missed several scoring opportunities. The SFA team gave no chance of recovery to the opposite team. The Sports Club players tried their best to score, but failed to do so. During the game, SFA boys tried to maintain the lead & consolidated their defence. When the final whistle blew the final score line didn’t alter 2-0 in favour of sports Club bandipora.

In the Final, SFA Green will now take on Hashmee FC. Hundreds of people and sports lovers from Nook and corner of area witnessed the match. The Tournament is being organized by Watapora Football Community.
