Sopore, Aug 29: A 48-year-old man was killed after he was hit by a speedy car at Lalad area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a pedestrian was walking on a road when a speedy vehicle bearing registration number JK15A-3006 hit him, resulting in his on spot death at Lalad Sopore-Sringar highway.
Police officials identifed the deceased as Abdul Rashid Ganaie, son of Late Muhammad Sultan Ganaie of Lalad Sopore.
Police said that the driver of the car has been arrested and a case has been registered in this regrad at Police Station Tarzoo Sopore—(KNO)
