Rajouri, Sep 02: A woman was on Wednesday injured after her two brothers were fighting over some family issue in Rajouri district of Jammu region.
Police officials informed the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that in Keri Barehvi village of Rajouri’s Dharamsal area, a woman received gunshot splinter injuries due to a 12 Bore rifle following which she was taken to Kalakote hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
“It has come to the fore that two real brothers were fighting over some intra-family issue after which one of the brothers used his 12 Bore rifle and fired and pellets of 12 Bore rifle hit his sister identified as Anju Devi, resident of Bari Brahmana Jammu,” said officials.
They added that woman is out of danger and her accused brother identified as Kirpal Singh, son of Jagdev Singh has been taken into the custody and investigation into the matter is on—(KNO)
