July 18 Shopian encounter: DNA samples results a matter of few days, says DGP Dilbagh Singh

Srinagar, Sep 17 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir’s Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh said that the final results of the samples collected from three family members from Rajouri district of Jammu who claimed three youth killed on July 18 at Amshipora, Shopian were their kin, will be out in a few days.

“There is no delay in results as the process takes time. I believe it’s a matter of few days when the results of DNA samples will be out,” he said as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), while reply to a query that it has been over a month since DNA samples were collected from six family members of three families in Rajouri district of Jammu.

Interestingly, the LG Manoj Sinha recently said that he would ensure that there is no injustice to the families. He was speaking in reference to Shopian encounter—(KNO)
