Duo young journalists rescue injured driver from bushes in Bandipora village

Bandipora, Oct 15: Two young Journalists on Thursday rescued a contractor, whose vehicle met with an accident in Yali village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The young journalists of Bandipora, Suhail Rather and Sajid Raina while on their way from Bandipora to Chandaji for a story saw a vehicle in bushes in Yali village which had met with an accident and the driver of said vehicle got stuck in the vehicle.

According to the Journalists, driver was crying for help as there was no one around. “After seeing him stuck in the vehicle we immediately de-boarded from our vehicle and saved the driver,” they said.

Meanwhile, the journalists after providing first aid to the driver, also called the administration for help.

They also arranged a recovery vehicle to get the vehicle towed-out from the bushes and lifted the vehicle to Bandipora.

Meanwhile, locals and driver of the vehicle appreciated the efforts of two journalists in helping the driver.
