Anantnag, Oct 19: Suspected militants shot at a police inspector in Sundpora Kanelwan area in Bijbehara belt of Anantna district Monday evening, leaving him critically wounded.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that that militants fired at a police inspector in Sundpora, Kanelwan area of Bijbehara in which he sustained bullet injuries.
He identified that police inspector as Mohammed Ashraf Bhat, a resident of Sundpora Kanelwan who is presently posted at Lethpora, Pulwama. He was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment and area has been cordoned off the area to nab the attackers—(KNO)
