Srinagar, Oct 20: The parents of Public Relations Officer, BSNL Masood Balla Tuesday alleged that due to complete mismanagement at SKIMS Soura Covid-19 patients are badly suffering.

Balla whose parents are suffering from Covid-19 infection told news agency KNT that even asymptomatic patients are being huddled in the wards full of serious Covid-19 patients.

“My father was perfectly alright but at SKIMS his condition has deteriorated. Doctors have kept him in the hospital against his will. I am the witness to the ‘mess’ at SKIMS,” he said.

Masood Bala said that nobody takes care of Covid-19 patients at SKIMS. “These patients are being left on the mercy of God. The Covid-19 patients are being attended by their relatives without any proper protection,” he said.

Masood Bala said that even those patients who are asymptomatic are being declared ‘serious’ by doctors. “Doctors instead of encouraging and taking care of these patients are scaring them. I am going to file a case against the SKIMS if anything untoward happens to my father,” he said adding that his mother is also Covid-19 affected and getting treatment.

“Despite being asymptomatic, I was declared to be suffering from severe bilateral pneumonia and huddled with serious Covid-19 patients,” he said. (KNT)
