“Doctors assured us that she is fine and stable. She today died after suffering from internal injuries when one Dr Bilal conducted a surgery. How can a doctor be so negligent while taking care of a stable patient,” one of the relatives of the deceased lady said.

Dr Gulzar from Shifa Hospital said that she had developed pancreatic complications which can prove fatal sometimes. He alleged that angry relatives of the deceased lady damaged hospital property worth lakhs.

“I was terrified. Many people sustained injuries during the melee,” said an eyewitness.

Dr Gulzar said that even police was unable to curb the agitated locals. (KNT)
