Police constable found dead in Budgam

Budgam, Nov 05: A policeman was found dead in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.

A police official told KNT that during the intervening night of 4 and 5 November, a police constable left his home and on Thursday morning his body with torture mark was found tied with a tree.

The victim has been identified as Muhammad Ashraf son of Abdul Majeed Rather, a resident of Archanderhama Magaam.

He was presently posted at Parishaspora Pattan and was affiliated with 21 Battalio IRP. His dead body was found in Batapora Kanihama Magaam. (KNT)
