Srinagar, Nov 20: Peoples Democratic Party President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Friday questioned the summoning of PDP leader to police station on daily basis.

She asked Lieutenant Governor Manoj Singh that is this going to be the new norm of elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti as per KNT in a tweet said that her party leader Rouf Bhat was summoned to Shergarhi police station today. “He was asked to report everyday & ensure he stays from 8am-8pm till SMC elections are over. As usual ‘upar say order’ is the justification.”

Mayor elections for Srinagar Municipal Corporation will be held on 25 November and today former Mayor Junaid Matuu filed his nomination papers. (KNT)
