Pulwama Tales: Young writer, RJ from Pulwama bags Rashtra Prerna 2020 award

RJ highlights social issues, solutions at online radio

Pulwama, Nov 23: A young writer from South Kashmir’s Pulwama district has been selected for “Rashtriya Prerna Award” 2020—youngest best writer award 2020.

Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Faheem-ul-Islam, an 18-year-old boy from Achan village of Litter Tehsil of Pulwama district said that he has so far co-authored around a dozen books besides that his maiden book “The Midnight Silence” was published recently.

While talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Faheem said that he is very happy that he has been selected for this prestigious award which has given him more confidence to write on different social issues.

He said that he will get award on December 20 at Indore Madya Pradesh in a grand function which will be attended by union ministers besides bollywood celebrities.

Faheem won so far over 100 awards and certificates from reputed institutions all over the world and has also featured in the Indian Book of records 2020 for his writing skills and social activism.

He is also a youngest RJ at Kashmir Online Radio, where he used to highlight the social issues and unethical practices prevalent in “our society along with their solutions.”

“My aim is just to do something great for the society and want to inspire more and more youth so that we can eradicate social evils jointly,” he said.

Angel’s Cultural Academy a day before awarded him with Covid-19 warrior award for awarding people through different medias about Covid-19. “I was given membership of the academy,” he said.

Faheem, a bachelor’s student of political science at Aligarh muslim university is also a columnist in national and international newspapers and journals and his recent published book. “The Midnight Silence had also received positive feedback locally as well as at different stages of India,” he said—(KNO)
