School Edu Deptt constitutes committee to certify online content of study material

Srinagar, Nov 27: The School Education Department on Friday constituted a committee to certify online content of study material for teaching learning in schools.

According to the government order, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), “Sanction is accorded to the constitution of committee to certify online the content of study material for teaching learning in schools uploaded by various agencies and organizations.”

The six members of the committee include Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Director of School Education Jammu (DSEJ). Both the Director’s have been appointed as the chairman and members of the committee.

The other members include Director Academics JKBOSE Jammu, Project director Samagra Shiksha Jammu and Kashmir (Member Secretary), Two principal DIET’s to be nominated by Project director Samagra Shiksha Jammu and Kashmir and two principals of higher Secondaries to be nominated by Project director Samagra Shiksha Jammu and Kashmir.

“The committee shall scrutinize online study material and certify the content before the same is provided for teaching learning purpose to educational institutes affiliated with JKBOSE and School Education Department,” the order reads.

It also said that the committee shall meet once every month and furnish its recommendations to the school education department—(KNO)
