Class 12 girl pens her maiden poetry book ‘Sadaye Qalb’

Srinagar, Dec 14: A 12th class student from Srinagar has recently published her maiden Urdu poetry book titled “Sadaye Qalb” in which she has touched various topics including Covid-19 pandemic.

Mir Raafiyah Bashir from Baghati Shoora in Soura in her book has touched various topics including Covid-19 pandemic.

While talking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mir Raafiyah Bashir, a resident from Baghati Shoora in Soura, said she was passionate and interested in writing since her childhood.

“I started writing when I was in 9th class,” she said.

Raafiyah said the main topics she has touched in her poetry include parents, teachers, friends, bloodshed in Kashmir besides Covid-19 pandemic.

“In my poetry I have described how much there is an importance of a parent, teacher and friends and through what circumstances a person goes who has lost these important people in their life,” she said.

“I have also been writing about bloodshed in Kashmir that how the killing of a person snatches dreams of dozens of people associated with him/her,” she said.

Raafiyah said her message to the youth would be not to succumb to any pressure.

“Everyone faces challenges in life but we must try our level best to make challenges easier and reach the goal of life,” she said—(KNO)
