Srinagar, Dec 22: Meteorological (MeT) department on Tuesday said the weather is likely to remain dry and cold till the weekend when a spell of light to moderate snowfall is likely at widespread places, reported Press Trust of India (PTI).

While the valley continued to reel under sub-zero night temperature, they said, there was a little improvement in the temperature at a few places.

The MeT office has said the weather is likely to remain dry and cold till 26 December forenoon, except for light to moderate snowfall in some areas in the higher reaches of Kashmir.

“A spell of light to moderate snowfall at widespread places in the valley is likely from the evening of 26 December to the night of 27,” the MeT office said.
