SPO goes missing with service rifle in Kulgam

Kulgam, Dec 23: A Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu Kashmir Police has gone missing from Yaripora belt of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said on Wednesday.

A police officer told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a SPO Zakir Hussain Malik son of Mohammad Skinder Malik, a resident of Hanger village of Yaripora area in Kulgam has gone missing since Tuesday evening.

He said that Zakir (belt number 967A) has been missing along with an AK-47 rifle from Tuesday (December 22).

He said that he was on duty at Police post Frisal Kulgam from 3 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday where he went missing.
