BSNL coming out with big discount plan for prepaid, postpaid, landline, broadband customers – Check here

New Delhi, Nov 20: State-owned telcom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is coming out with yet another offer for its prepaid, postpaid, landline and broadband customers. BSNL has brought in a special scheme wherein the telco is offering these customers 10 percent discount.

As per media reports, BSNL will soon come out with the special plan for government employees, offering them discount on all BSNL connections/services. Reports further say that BSNL will give discounts to all government employees on landline, broadband and fiber plans. BSNL has made it clear that not only existing government employees but retired officers and employees will also be able to avail this offer.

The report adds that the new offer from BSNL will be implemented from February 1.

Notably, BSNL still gives 5 percent discount to government employees taking landline, mobile and broadband plans.

Earlier this month, BSNL had introduced a new plan for its prepaid customers. The data vouchers plan of Rs 398 per month from BSNL offers unlimited data and voice calls both local and national. It also offers 100 free SMS per day both local and on national roaming. The prepaid plan comes with 30 days validity period. However, the Rs 398 STV plan is available only in select circles like Chennai and Haryana.

The telecom operator had also launched another plan for users in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Kolkata, West Bengal, North East, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, UP East and UP West.

Under this plan, users will get full one-year validity. Users will be given 2GB data daily along with the unlimited voice calling facility. In the first 60 days, 250 minutes of daily talk will be free. After the end of 250 minutes daily limit, the tariff will be charged as per the base plan. In this plan, 100 SMS facility is available daily.
