Srinagar, Feb 06: Jammu & Kashmir High Court invites online application form from the eligible candidates for the post of Research Assistants for 08 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of B.L are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the written test and interview. Eligible candidates can apply through e-mail and postal on or before 20 February 2021.  The detailed eligibility and application process are given below.

The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir was established in the year 1928. In 1927 a new constitution was signed an agreement by the ruler of the state and instead of law members, a ministry in the judicial department was created. The High Court was invested with powers of superintendence and control over the Courts and District judiciary. Both Jammu and Srinagar Wings of the High Court function throughout the year.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must be a Law Graduate (as on the date of appearing in the interview) having a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from any School/College/University/Institute established by Law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate, possessing a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate at Law Graduation (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) and should not have completed two years after enrolment as an Advocate.

The candidate must have knowledge of Computer, including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/ processes such as Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw etc.

Age limit (As on 01.01.2021): 33 years

Salary: Rs.40,000/-

JK High Court Recruitment Selection Process:
The selection process will be based on written test/interview.
Application Fees:

The application form must be accompanied with a bank draft of Rs. 200/- in the name of Registrar General of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir.
