J&K Police officers/officials: 17 SIs, 07 ASIs, 40 HCs and 70  SgCts promoted to next rank

Jammu, Feb 06: The Director General of Police J&K Shri Dilbag Singh has issued promotion orders in respect of 17 SIs, 07 ASIs, 40 HCs and 70  SgCts of Ministerial Executive Cadre to the next ranks.

As recommended by the Departmental Promotion Committee regarding grant of promotion to the Police Personnel of Ministerial Executive Cadre . After thorough scrutiny of the service records, promotion in respect of these officers/officials has been ordered vide four different orders of PHQ .

DGP J&K Sh Dilbag Singh has congratulated the promoted personnel and their family members. He has expressed his hope that the promotion will serve as an inspiration for the personnel to perform their duties with more dedication and zeal.

PHQ has been providing career progression opportunities to all ranks in the force and during the year 2020, 6783 personnel were promoted to the next ranks and 3686 personnel were given In-Situ promotions.
