Srinagar, Mar 11, KNT: The BA 6th Sem students Thursday staged a protest asking Kashmir University not to force them for re-examination.

The BA 6th Sem students, batch 2017 who assembled in Press Enclave Srinagar resented the notification issued by Kashmir University asking students to appear for re-examination of a subject.

“Our examinations ended on 5 February. Everything went well. We were shocked when after the expiry of over a month; Kashmir University issued a notification asking students to appear for re-examination of a subject namely ‘Serculture’. What about those student who are out of station and what was the need to conduction re-examination, that too after over a month,” a protesting student told KNT.

The protesting students said that re-examination of the paper should be made optional. “We don’t know why Kashmir University took this decision. Some students who left Valley and are pursuing other courses will face problems,” they said and appealed Kashmir University to look into the matter. (KNT)
