Srinagar, Mar 31: The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, on Wednesday ordered a change in the school timings from April 1 within and outside the municipal limits of Srinagar city.

An order issued by the directorate on Wednesday a copy of which lies with Asia News Observer said the schools falling in the Srinagar Municipal limits would function from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, while the schools located outside the municipal limits and other areas of the Kashmir region would’ve function from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.

The order said the instructions shall be adhered to by all institutions. “Any deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously,” read the order.
