Three minor kids die after falling into a soak-pit in Budgam village

Budgam, May 25: In a tragic incident, three minors including two girls fell into a pit while playing on Tuesday evening in Narwara Beerwa area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Locals swung into action and dragged all the three children out from the soak pit and took them to hospital.

Block Medical Officer while talking to Kashmir News Trust that three minors including a boy and two girls were brought to hospital where one among them 4-year-old Sabzar Ahmed died initially. He said efforts were put to revive the other two minor girls, however, unfortunately they also succumbed.

BMO Beerwah identified these two minor girls as 3-year-old Dua Jan and two years old Arshaman Jan.

A police officer also confirmed the death of trio saying a case in this regard has been registered.

This is the fourth death of any minor in Budgam district today. Earlier a little boy was killed after coming under debris in a village. (KNT)
