Srinagar, Jul 23: In view of the possible third wave of Novel Coronavirus, district administration Srinagar on Friday deputed enforcement squads accompanied by the magistrates at different locations in the city to check on the people found violating the Covid-19 Sops and not adhering to appropriate behavior.

An official from the Srinagar Administration told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that they have clear instructions from the DDMA Srinagar that the Covid-19 Sop violations will not be tolerated in any case, and those found violating the Covid appropriate behaviour may have to face FIR under relevant laws.

Notably, earlier in the day the DDMA Srinagar had also said that they are going to act tough on Covid protocol violators and those found not wearing masks in public places may have to face FIR.

A top official stated that despite enforcement squads being established, it is impossible to chase down every individual and force them to wear the mask.
