The University of Kashmir has informed the candidates that the Test shall be conducted in the previously constituted examination centres and the candidate can be admitted in the examination on the basis of Admit Cards already obtained by them.

The notification issued by the University of Kashmir is viral on social media. Students and netizens are poking fun at the University.

Students are raising fingers over the question paper setter accusing him of carelessness and negligence and demanding action against him.

“Questions were not only out of syllabus but some of them were cut, copied and pasted from outdated question papers. Even some questions had more than one correct option that really confused students,” wrote a student.

Some students accused University of wasting their time, money and energy. “Some students arrived at the Varsity from far flung areas to appear in the examination in the ongoing pandemic little did they know, there is a surprise for them from question paper setter.”

Professor Farooq Ahmed Mir, Directorate of Admissions and Competitive Examinations while talking to news agency Kashmir News Trust said that action against the question paper setter is under active consideration.

“Why action won’t be taken against the question paper setter who wasted time, money and energy of students as well as of Varsity. There are proper statues and laws under which action will be initiated. This question paper setter will be black listed and he in future will get no assignment from the University,” Mir told KNT.
