Srinagar, Nov 19: The Ministry of Education (MoE) has asked the School Education Department to continue planning the Alternative Academic Calendar in order to provide the learning solutions for grades I to XII for the children with device and without device respectively.

The Department of School Education and Literacy (DSEL) in an annual meeting of Project Approval Board (PAB) with the MoE has said, “States and Union Territories (UTs) may continue to plan the Alternative Academic Calendar in its present form that gives learning solutions for grades I to XII for both—a child with device and one without device.”

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), during the meeting, MoE has said, “This can be strengthened by connecting item banks, assessment and role of parents with the Alternative academic calendar.”

Besides, the MoE in the meeting was informed that the seasonal centres in Jammu and Kashmir for migratory children have always remained a priority of the government.
