Srinagar, Dec 1: Students featuring in general merit list as paramedical staff in SKIMS Wednesday urged authorities for release of final selection list, to allow them to pursue their career in the field.

Students from different streams including Nursing, Pharmacy, Radiology, Operation Theatre Technician, Anesthesia, who said to have featured in the general merit list released in October, had assembled here at Press Enclave to draw attention of authorities towards the issue.

“We are paramedical students who have appeared in paramedical exams last year in SKIMS”, a student said, adding for over a year they were in oblivion about the fate of their exams.

“A general merit for the exams was announced on October 5 and all those candidates featuring in the list are here. Now after two months, we are yet to know about the future course as the final selection list has been held up by the authorities concerned”, the student as per GNS said.
