Srinagar, Dec 09: Scores of aspirants, who had applied for Forest Protection Force (FPF) post in forest department, on Thursday staged a protest to oppose re- advertising of posts by Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB).

Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the aspirants said, “We had applied for the post of Forest Protection Force several years ago, but later, the process never reached fruition.”

“We have been humiliated many times when we asked for our rights and we are now getting overage and will not be eligible for any post if it gets delayed again and again. However, instead of completing the previous recruitment process, the SSB is now going to re-advertise the posts, which is sheer injustice to us,” they said.

“We appeal the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to look into the matter and ensure that the unemployed aspirants could heave a sigh of relief,” they said—(KNO)
