Says not for record, doing it for blood donation activity; plans to travel to Manali on bicycle

Kerala man travels to Kashmir from Kanyakumari by foot in 118 days

Srinagar, Feb 09: Malvin Thomas, a 26-year-old man from Kerala, who completed his journey by foot from Kanyakumari to Kashmir within 118 days. He has walked 3500 kilometres approximately.

Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Melvin said: “I reached Kashmir today morning by foot after 118 days of travel from Kanyakumari. I am not doing it for any record but surely for a blood donation activity.”

He said despite the fact that he faced lot of hardships in between because of bad weather conditions but people kept on joining him that boosted my passion.

Melvin is breadwinner of his family but he choose to leave his family and started his journey on October 09, 2021. He travelled for 118 days with a sole motive of raising funds for blood donations. In this journey, Melvin said that his family supported him a lot.
