12th class result: Pulwama boy Suhail Dar tops arts stream

Srinagar, Feb 09: A student of Mehjoor Memorial Government Higher Secondary Pulwama has secured first position in arts stream of 12th class, the results of which were declared on Wednesday.

Suhail Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Bellow Chanpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district has secured 496 marks out of 500 in arts stream.

Dar while talking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that parents and teachers should not pressurize students to opt for science or any other stream and they must be given free will to choose their subjects.

Dar said that students can make their future in Arts as well and to achieve any goal, hard work and consistency is must. “So, if students will work hard and study with consistency, they can achieve their goals in the arts too.”

“I was student of a private school namely Noor- ul- Islam below where principal Ashraf, urdu teacher Waseem impacted my life to great extend following which teachers of Mehjoor Memorial Higher Secondary Pulwama also motivated me that I can achieve goal which finally happened,” he said.

On online education, Dar said that students must learn how to change themselves as per the situation and should remain ready for any mode of education.

He added that self study is a must and his aim is to contribute in Urdu language and Urdu Adab.

“Those who have failed can shine better than anyone if they work hard in the coming time and they must understand that this is not the end of the world,” he said—(KNO)
