Baramulla, Feb 11: A 21-year-old girl Shazia Bano hailing from Trikanjan village, of north Kashmir’s Boniyar Tehsil has successfully followed her dream to write Quran. Shazia achieved this milestone in a span of just 8 months with hardwork and dedication.

Shazia has completed her graduation and would look after household chores, too. “I didn’t have any fixed or specific time duration for writing it, because I had to pay attention to my studies and other chores as well. I used to work on it in spare time during the night hours as I had very less time to utilize during the day.”

Talking about her future goals, Shazia said that she wanted to write a paragraph of Al Qur’an on a single sheet of paper which hasn’t been done by anyone in the world, so far. Besides that, Shazia also happens to be a great calligrapher and she sees her future in the world of calligraphy and art. She said that her friends always motivated her to move ahead in achieving her dreams.

Shazia’s father, who was feeling extremely proud of his daughter, said to The Kashmiriyat that he was not aware about what she was busy doing. “I never knew that she was writing Al Qur’an. The other members of the family, too, came to know about it after she completed it.”
