Reopening of Schools: Parents busy buying uniforms, students excited

Srinagar, Mar 01: As schools are all set to re-opening across Kashmir tomorrow, the parents were seen buying various school uniforms and other things items for their children in various Srinagar markets.

Talking to new agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) a parent said that, “online system of education was complicated for students and we are happy to know that offline classes are starting. Kids are very happy and excited.”

“My kid who is studying in 2nd grade has been at school for only a few months, after that schools remained closed. He has not experienced the discipline, environment of school which is very important for kids “.

Meanwhile, schools and parents have been asked to follow proper SOPs including face masks, sanitising and social distancing etc.

Aaban Sajad, a 2nd class student, said that he is very happy and excited about going to school from tomorrow, and prefers offline classes over online classes.

Another student from 9th grade talking to KNO said that it would be after a gap of three years that he is going to meet teachers and friends again.

“Online classes had made us kind of lethargic but in offline classes we can feel quite active and happy,” he said—(KNO)
