SED directs CEOs to ensure registration of employees, students for SEHAT Scheme

Srinagar, Mar 10: The School Education Department has directed the Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of Kashmir division to ensure cent percent registration of its employees and students for SEHAT Scheme.

As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the personal officer at Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) in a communiqué issued in last week of February has said, “CEO are advised to ensure 100 percent registration of all the beneficiaries including students, teachers and other staff members under Avushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogyn Yojnn SEHAT scheme by or before March-31-2022.”

Pertinently, the personal officer in the same communique has said that as per the directions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir in the meeting of all CEOs regarding the arrangements and necessary measures by HoIs for school reopening and keeping Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) in consideration, CEOs were advised to direct all HoIs of High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools and Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) to certify all the conditions have been fulfilled and that the school is ready in every respect for re-opening.

“A suitable checklist of various prerequisites which need to be taken care of for providing a clean and hygienic atmosphere in and around the schools to facilitate quality learning is appended with this communication,” it reads—(KNO)
