Srinagar, Mar 11: After being suspended on Thursday in view of an ongoing gunfight in Naina Batpora of Pulwama district, authorities have resumed the train services from today.
An official told GNS that “all the train services from Banihal to Baramulla and vice versa will run normally as per schedule today.”
The authorities had on Thursday suspended the services as a precautionary measure, with the Panzgam station falling barely some 50 meters away from the encounter site – which culminated with the killing of two militants affiliated with Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit. (GNS)
