Srinagar, Apr 15: Income Tax department has invited applications for constitute a panel of Senior Standing Counsels/Junior Standing Counsels to represent the Income Tax Department before the Hon’ble High Court of J&K, Bench at Srinagar & Jammu. Applicants can read the official notification at http://incometaxindia.gov.in.
In light of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Central Board of Direct Taxes, New Delhi, instruction No 7/2016 dated 07.09.2016 issued vide F No. 279/MiscJM-75/2011-ID, it is proposed to constitute a panel of Senior Standing Counsels/Junior Standing Counsels to represent the Income Tax Department before the Hon’ble High Court of J&K, Bench at Srinagar & Jammu.
The eligibility criteria / other terms and condition and Application Proforma- Al /A2, is a part of the Instruction No. 07/2016 mentioned above which can be downloaded from the website incometaxindia.gov.in under the head “Misc. communication” or can be collected from and filed before Sh. Reyaz Ahmad Bhat, IncomeTax officer (Hqr.) (Admn.) O/o The Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Srinagar, at Aayakar Bhawan, The Chinars, Govt. Silk Factory Road, Rajbagh, Srinagar.
The last date of receipt of application along with necessary documentary evidences is the 23.04.2022. Application sent by post may be sent well in time so as to reach the office table within the given time.
The Applicant applying for empanelment as Sr. Standing Counsel should also state specifically at the bottom of application whether engagement as junior Standing Counsel would be acceptableto them if department consider its approval.
