Anantnag, June, 17: There is a saying that “youth is the foundation of the country” and if the foundation is strong then the country will be strong.

Around 32 teams participated in the tournament from adjacent villages in Anantnag District.

This event will provide an opportunity for us to know each other and clear some perceived misconceptions and keeps away from Drugs.

The tournament provides a perfect platform to the youth of locals to showcase their performance and hone their skills.

The main aim of the tournament is to keep youths away from Drugs and to bring all communities together and maintain peace and harmony in the area.

Organisers of tournament Mir Shabir and Sartaj Ayoub while talking and said we take an initiative to boost platform among hidden talented players so that they can play at district level too and this initiative will boost our skills makes interest among players towards sports activities.Our message to all youths participate and keep away yourselves from drugs and other evil deeds.
