Srinagar, Aug 30: The Government of India on Tuesday appointed Dr. Shah Faesal as deputy secretary in the Union Ministry of Culture.

The Department of Personnel and Training has ordered the posting of Shah Faesal (AGMUT-2010) as deputy secretary in the Ministry of Culture under the central staffing scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over the post.

According to an order issued by the DoPT, a copy of which is in possession of news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Shah Faesal was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, which is the cadre controlling authority for AGMUT—(KNO)
