Srinagar, May 22: People from all G-7 countries are present in the G-20 summit in Srinagar while as foreign tourist arrivals have shown a significant rise over the past few months, where comes the question of negative travel advisories on J&K,” Amitabh Kant, the Sherpa-G20 stated on Monday.

“People and the representatives of all G-7 countries have come to Srinagar. There is a significant rise in foreign tourist arrivals in Kashmir since the past few months. Where comes the question of negative travel advisories of foreign countries or the ban on traveling to Kashmir by foreign countries,” Kant said as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), while replying to a query. He said the “question itself is irrelevant when people from all G-7 countries are very much present in the Srinagar event.”

Pertinently, Kashmir traders and tourism stakeholders have pinned hopes on the G-20 meeting that the foreign delegates will help remove the negative travel advisory imposed on their citizens that bars them from visiting the Valley—(KNO)
