Lalpora Police and CRPF’s 162 Battalion Unite for ‘Tiranga Rally’

Srinagar, Aug 09: In a heartfelt tribute to the valiant freedom fighters who gave their lives for the noble cause of their homeland, Lalpora Police post, in collaboration with CRPF’s 162 Battalion, organized a spirited ‘Tiranga Rally’ on Wednesday morning in Lalpora.

Under the banner of the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign, the ‘Tiranga Rally’ commenced from Lalpora Police Station and wound its way to the main market area. Leading the rally was SHO Lalpora, Malik Naseer, accompanied by the 162-Battalion CRPF, prominent local figures, students from Govt Higher Secondary School Lalpora, village Sarpanchs, and other community members.

The rally’s core objective was to pay homage to the martyrs of the freedom struggle, capturing the spirit of the campaign’s theme. The ‘Tiranga Rally’ is slated to continue until Independence Day, a lasting tribute to the sacrifices made by those who fought for India’s freedom.
