JKBOSE revises, changes syllabi of Statistics, Information Practices, Electronics, Computer Science of 11th standard

Rest of the subjects of classes 11th and 12th, the syllabi shall remain unchanged: Director Academics

Srinagar, Aug 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has revised and changed syllabi of Statistics, Information Practices, Electronics and Computer Science subjects from the ongoing academic session for 11th standard.

In this regard, JKBOSE has notified and issued a communique for the information of all the candidates of classes 11th and 12th in particular and other stake holders in general.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), BOSE said, “The syllabi and courses of studies for Higher Secondary part-1 of the subjects that is Statistics, Information Practices, Electronics and Computer Science have been revised and changed from the current Academic Session 2023-2024.”

It also said that the rationalized syllabi on the analogy of NCERT has been already notified of classes 11th and 12th.

The subjects include General English, History, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies and Accountancy along with the revised scheme of assessment.

The Board further said that for rest of the subjects of classes 11th and 12th, the syllabi shall remain unchanged.

“Accordingly, the Question papers for Annual Regular examination shall be set as per new scheme of assessment and syllabi scheduled to be held in the month of March-April, 2024,” reads the communique—(KNO)
