GDC Qazigund announces Inter-College Kabaddi Tournament for Men

Anantnag, Aug 18: The Government Degree College (GDC) Qazigund has announced to conduct Inter-College Kabaddi Tournament, scheduled to start from September 13, 2023.

This highly anticipated event, with international level infrastructure, aims to bring together talented students from various colleges, registered private clubs across the region, showcasing their skills and fostering a spirit of healthy competition.

This event besides providing an opportunity for students to showcase their sports abilities shall also serve as a platform for networking and building lasting connections among participants from different colleges. It encourages camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship, a sense of unity and friendly competition.

The organizing committee has worked tirelessly to ensure that this tournament adheres to the highest standards of fairness and professionalism. Qualified referees and umpires shall be appointed to ensure impartiality and maintain the integrity of the game.

Meanwhile, the college has sought sponsorship from public as well as private enterprises, as their contributions shall give this tournament a different look. Their Corporate Social Responsibility shall also highlight their commitment to promote sports and recognize the importance of extracurricular activities in the holistic development of students, said an official of GDC Qazigund.

The matches will be held at GDC Qazigund where state-of-the-art facilities and a vibrant atmosphere are available.
