8th, 10th Pass Anganwadi Jobs In J&K: Apply Now!

Srinagar, Sep 06: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is recruiting Anganwadi Workers and Helpers for Anganwadi Centres across the state. The vacancies are available for both 8th pass and 10th pass candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • For Anganwadi Workers:
    • Age: 18-37 years
    • Domicile of the UT of J&K
    • Matriculation (10th class) pass from a recognized board
  • For Anganwadi Helpers:
    • Age: 18-37 years
    • Domicile of the UT of J&K
    • Minimum qualification of 8th standard

Salary: 

The salary for Anganwadi Workers is Rs. 3000 to Rs. 4500 per month and for Anganwadi Helpers is Rs. 1500 to Rs. 2250 per month.

Selection Process:

The selection will be done on a merit basis based on the marks obtained in 10th standard for Anganwadi Workers and 8th standard for Anganwadi Helpers.

How to Apply:

The application form can be downloaded from the website of the Department of Women and Child Development, Jammu and Kashmir. The filled in application form along with all the required documents should be submitted to the concerned District Social Welfare Officer.

The last date for submission of applications is September 30, 2023.
