Kulgam, Sep 01: Under Swachhata Pakhwada, and on the occasion of “Ek Tareek Ek Ghanta Ek Saath”, Information Department Kulgam organized a cleanliness drive at Aharbal Tourist spot in which Media persons from different media houses, employees from the information and forest department participated enthusiastically
During this drive the participants picked up the litter on the trail of Aharbal- Kounsernag and disposed off properly.
The drive was also carried to disseminate a message to keep the tourist spots clean and litter free.
The department also organized a cleanliness drive at the office complex at Kulgam under the theme “Ek Tareekh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath” which was joined by other departments housed in the office complex including DIC, Mining, SICOP, Pollution, etc.
On the occasion participants picked up the litter from lawns of the office complex for disposing it off and to make the lawns clean.
A Shramadaan of one hour was conducted with an aim to make a valuable contribution to our nation in terms of cleanliness of our surroundings, fostering the values of community service and nation building.
