The young chiropractor and owner of Valley Care Centre told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the idea to remove tattoos free of cost stuck in his mind while continuing his daily practice at the clinic in Karan Nagar Srinagar.
“As I attended my daily patients, I realized that tattoo removal is a costly process, and one has to invest around 5 to 6 thousand, and the tattoo gets removed in about 5 to 6 sittings, depending on the ink and the texture of the tattoo,” said Basit adding, “when I decided to get the equipment and use my skills to help people remove their tattoos. The unique thing about this procedure is that I do all this without charging a penny”.
“Till now, I have removed more than 900 tattoos, and the count is getting bigger. Over the last year, I have helped many individuals erase tattoos that served as painful reminders of their pasts,” added Basit.
