Kulgam, Oct 25: Ruby Jan, a dedicated member of the District Development Council (DDC) representing Behibagh block, has issued a heartfelt appeal to the authorities. She is urging them to promptly initiate the distribution of Itha cards’ benefits for the residents of Kulgam and Anantnag districts.

The Itha card is a valuable program that offers eligible individuals a monthly payment of Rs 4,000. This financial assistance is intended to cover expenses related to medicines and groceries.

Furthermore, the Itha card provides support to families by offering financial aid for girls’ marriages, with amounts ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

In her commitment to the welfare of her constituents, Ruby Jan personally reached out to the Itha card authorities. In response, the authorities have assured her that the distribution of benefits will commence between November and December in the year 2023.
