Srinagar, Nov 01: The construction of Ramban viaduct spanning over 1.8 kilometres has been successfully completed, announced Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday.
It consists of 26 spans and employs a combination of concrete and steel girders in its structural design.

The union minister of road transport and highways of India, as per the news agencyโKashmir News Observer (KNO), wrote on social media, โthe RamBan Viaduct, built at a cost of โน328 crore, is situated on the Udhampur-Ramban section of National Highway-44. This magnificent construction significantly enhances the transportation connectivity in the region, making it an essential part of the country’s highway infrastructure.
โThe viaduct’s completion signifies a tremendous step forward for the region’s economic development and further solidifies its position as a top-tier tourist destination. The visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has been instrumental in driving this project to success,โ wrote Gadkari.
