Shehr e Khaas Martial Arts Academy shines with 12 medals in Pencak Silat competition

Srinagar, Feb 26: In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Shehr-e-Khaas Martial Arts Academy has clinched 12 medals in the prestigious Pencak Silat competition held across India.

As per the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the team’s impressive medal tally includes seven gold, three bronze, and two silver medals, showcasing their exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

“Among the gold medalists are Rutba Showkot, who also secured one silver and Sira Hilal, Amina with 2 golds each and Shakir, Ibrahim, and Burhan with one gold each.”

“The academy’s success extends to its younger members, with two promising young girls demonstrating their prowess in the competition,” said an academy official adding that they have started the academy some six to seven months ago.

He said they have two academies with a total enrollment of 60 (30 each).

“This outstanding achievement not only highlights the academy’s commitment to excellence but also serves as a source of inspiration for aspiring athletes across the region,” said Rutba who has two medals—(KNO)
