Dr. Gulzar Ahmad, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Kulgam, said that, Blood donors save lives, and we are extremely happy to see all these donors coming forth to donate blood.

“Having been in Kulgam for the past several years, we have never encountered any issues with blood supply, and people here are aware that donating blood does not lead to any negative consequences,” he said.

The CMO said that within 15 days, donors naturally replenish the donated blood. “Donating blood is important and does not have any negative impact. However, if we refrain from donating blood, the negative impact is that we fail to contribute to saving lives.”
