‘Raja Shah Killing Case’: SIA raids 11 locations in South Kashmir

Srinagar, May 14: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Tuesday raided eleven locations in South Kashmir in connection with investigation of a non-local who was killed by terrorists in Bijbehara.

A top official told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com that SIA is conducting raids at 11 locations in south Kashmir parts.

The searches are being carried out in FIR no 87 of 2024 registered at police station Bijbehara now SIA Kashmir. The raids were being conducted at different locations in Anantnag, Shopian, and Kulgam districts.

The non-local vendor who was identified as Raja Shah, son of Shankar of Bihar was shot dead by terrorists in April. He was a vendor by profession.

These searches are being carried out in pursuance of search warrants issued by the Special Court, the official said, adding that, the case was initially registered by Bijbehara Police and subsequently it was transferred to the SIA Kashmir for further investigations. (KDC)
