Vehicular traffic not allowed on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Ramban today

Ramban, May 21: Vehicular movement on Jammu-Srinagar NH-44 will remain suspended for the whole day on May 21, said Rohit Baskotra, Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic, National Highway.

According to the SSP, no movement of any kind of vehicle including fresh perishable, livestock, security forces shall be allowed on NH-44 on May 21

“Moreover, yesterday (May 20), no vehicular movement shall be allowed on Jammu-Srinagar NHW after 6 pm from Qazigund towards Banihal, Ramban, Doda-Kishtwar, Udhampur, Jammu and vice versa and from Nagrota (Jammu)from 5 pm, from Udhampur; from 6 pm towards Patnitop, Doda-Kishtwar, Ramban, Gool, Banihal, Srinagar and vice versa,” Baskotra told ANI.

Without giving any specific reason for this restriction he said the reasons are multiple.
