Shaheen unveils JDU manifesto, declares two candidates for South Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 23: Janata Dal United President for Jammu and Kashmir, GM Shaheen, unveiled the party’s manifesto for the upcoming elections, outlining a pro-people vision for the region. The manifesto promises restoration of statehood, release of youth from jails, and benefits for fruit growers, among other features.

Shaheen emphasized that the manifesto is designed to address the pressing concerns of the local population and promote development and prosperity in the region. He expressed confidence that the manifesto will resonate with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The JDU also announced its candidates for two key constituencies in South Kashmir: Dr. Ayoub Matoo will contest from DH Pora, Kulgam, and Moulana Dr Gul Muhammad Azhari will contest from Anantnag South.

Shaheen’s unveiling of the manifesto and announcement of candidates marks a significant move by the JDU in the region, as the party seeks to make a positive impact in the upcoming elections. With its focus on local issues and development, the JDU aims to connect with voters and bring about change in Jammu and Kashmir.
